File directory and list

Read-only text file urvmac.txt, which is used for default macro generation, is internally stored in the urvall.jar file.

Up to four distinct text files can be generated when the Unravel program is run and these are stored in a sub-directory UrvbaseJ/unravel/urtext. A list of these files and their applicability for application and applet program modes of operation are summarized below.

where	"nn" is cube size.
	"y" is blank for standard cubes with unmarked centres.
	"y" has value "m" if the marked centres option Allow marking for size 3 to computer-dependent limit for the Unravel Options dialog is checked and one-size-up simulation has not been activated for cubes of odd size (see next item).
	"y" has value "s" if all the following apply: The cube size selected is odd and within usable range for this option (typical limit is size 31). The marked centres option Allow marking for size 3 to computer-dependent limit for the Unravel Options dialog is checked. The Allow single centre cubie rotation simulation for cubes of odd size is checked (default is to have it unchecked) for the Unravel Options dialog. The user selects Yes to the Special Centre Cubie Query Dialog presented just before the Cube Size dialog closes.

Referring to the above table, Items 1 and 4 are stored in the urtext directory, item 2 in the urtext/macro-files directory and item 3 in the urtext/saved-states directory. Further details are provided in File relative and absolute storage.
